The American Evangelistic Association (AEA), founded in 1954 by John E. Douglas, Jr., is committed to serving those called to Ministry, so that Kingdom’s ends will be served, Jesus Christ glorified and made known to all He has called. The organization’s roots and mission stem from Matthew 23:8-11, “But be not ye called Teacher: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in Heaven. Neither ye be called masters: for one is your Master, even in Christ. But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.”
AEA’s vision is simple yet powerful – “The Whole Gospel to the Whole World”. Such a vision calls us to provide the tools necessary so that the time and energy of their members will be maximized in winning the lost, equipping the Saints and fulfilling the Lord’s calling.
“Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, learn of me: for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” Matthew 11:28-29
